Finally got my oppo on the S14.
I mostly lurk here with occasional posts on random threads. This made me feel like part of the cool kids club.

Personally, id love to hear the story behind a clean s14. There used to be only 1 other person with a 240 on here and it was an s13. I think youre the only one with an s14 tho.

Congrats. Mine just arrived yesterday. I'm really anti-sticker when it comes to my car but want the Oppo logo on there. I ordered it in reverse black. That way, I can mount in on the inside behind the tint. I will be more subtle that way. Just need to figure out which window.

well, i see that. But how did he find a never doriftod 240. I always love hearing a story about how everyone got their car.
Its not about drifting. His interior look super mint, and even has the stock rear deck with oem speakers. The black moulding around the windows look brand new. This cars gotta have like 80K or less miles. If its more, ill be shocked.

Aw shuck, you flattered me..
I'm a 4th owner of this car. I rescue this car from some kid that bought it a month prior to build a drift car. Thankfully, he lost interest and sold it to me. The first two owners were middle age ladies that saved every receipts for every oil changes+maintenance. I spent a whole year scouring craigslist and every listing services to find her..
I'm in college so this is my only car. I've been feeling guilty for adding A LOT of highway miles. Bought the car at 160k and it is now at 204k miles. :)

Thanks! I also bought a reverse sticker with plan to place it on the rear quarter glass. I'm also in the anti-sticker group but couldn't resist the oppo sticker. Decided to use this one for the sake of keeping all the stickers (only 2) together.

Love the screen name and car! Finding a good condition stock one of those is SO rare nowadays!

Rear quarter, passenger side is what I'm thinking. I usually have the windows up but where they are down, it will be hidden. The other option was somewhere on the rear window. Similar to what you have on your car. But, if it's not perfectly centered, it will just drive me crazy!

Almost bought an OPPO sticker. Then I realized two problems.
1. It's a mountain bike
2. Orange on orange
3. Pathetic potato camera fail

Welp. i stand corrected! haha. Your pictures either mask the little details, or the car is simply just clean. Plus, i have a soft spot for white sporty coups.
I understand your constant search. I had to do exactly what you did for my car.
And dont feel bad. I often feel bad for putting miles on lower mileage lude. But its meant to be driven. And Ill keep driving it till i cant any more. No sense in locking away a car, especially a 240. The thing is to make sure you enjoy driving all those miles. I for one have enjoyed every mile ive driven. Dont be afraid to see if you can get some oppo from time to time haha.
btw what part of the country are you in?

I bought a DA machine a few months back and had it detailed a few weeks back. There is a downside for buying an unmolested 240.. it is an auto-tragic. I have 2 5-spd tranny in the garage for a tranny swap. Just need to find non-abs drive shaft or go with one piece aluminum piece. Oh and some courage to actually go through with it in a small one car garage with hand tools.
I'm located in the sf bay area and the other sticker should give you a hint on where I attend school.

Thanks! It took me well over a year to find an unmolested one.

They sell different color stickers! A black oppo sticker would be nice on that bike.

Ahhh, an auto.... They are easy enough to come by. My friend and I are trying to find him a 240 at the moment. But im forcing him to get a 5speed only. Were both not ready to go deep into a swap for his DD. And its pretty much impossible to find a clean 240.
Do the swap. Get it over with. Figure it out along the way. I know its easy for me to say but its the truth. Even i gotta do a few things im still hesitant about, but ill do them. Soon. maybe haha.
Also, you probably have access to some of those 'community shops' in your area. I know a few people on the forums have used them to get work done on their cars themselves since they can use the lift and everything. But i dont know what its like by you.
Im on the other coast, so i have no clue what schools are far out west. haha

Good luck with the search! I gave up looking for a decent 5 speed halfway through the search. Even the decent looking ones were scrapping every pavements..
I'm saving to get an impact wrench to easily deal with torque converter bolts. It'll be done..hopefully by next winter.

Thanks haha. Were trying to get him out of his truck asap. He also throwing around a 300zx, but i keep telling him to just keep searching...
Impact wrench is a good start. Get a torque wrench first though! very important. Also find things to form a makeshift breaker bar, since sometimes an impact gun doesnt always fit in certain areas. Look on craigslist. I know they are very cheap around my area.

Not surprised. Do you live in the USA? What area if so? I'm in CT and haven't seen a clean one in my life. I was wondering if its also location.

I'm in CA so the supply is higher than other states. Most of the 240s are "drift ready" with drift tax =/
